Kountry Kitchen - Clanton
Kountry Kitchen
Description
In recent months, a beloved local eatery has faced notable challenges, with many patrons expressing disappointment over a decline in food quality and overall experience. Once celebrated for its hearty hamburgers and vibrant salad bar, diners have reported inconsistencies, from undercooked dishes to poor presentation. Despite these shortcomings, the restaurant's friendly staff continues to receive praise, alongside a welcoming atmosphere. A recent Thanksgiving experience showcased their commitment to service, albeit with a few hiccups. While the cozy ambiance and decent portion sizes charm some visitors, others are contemplating alternatives for their dining needs as the establishment seeks to regain its former glory.

My husband doesn't eat greens, so when we go out, it's my chance to enjoy them! Living in North Carolina, we often end up at Cracker Barrel, but their greens are usually lukewarm and have a dried-out crust on top. Thank you, Kountry Kitchen, for serving the best greens I've ever had in a restaurant! Your greens were top-notch as well!
Today, the parking lot was bustling, and there were cars parked on both sides of the street. While it may seem like a small restaurant from the outside, it's actually much more spacious inside, so don't worry about finding a spot. They offer an excellent buffet as well as a complete menu. Getting there is easy—just take Exit 208 off I-65 and you'll be a short 1/4 mile away. Trust me, it’s worth the trip! The staff is incredibly efficient, with everyone stepping in to help wherever needed. This will definitely be an annual stop for us! Thank you, Kountry Cuisine by Clanton!
Very nice place, clean food was very good. First time ever go and I'll be back. The staff was very friendly smiling faces. Nicely decorated buffet style. I ate sick. The price is just $9, that is with a tea or coffee soda is more, but it is worth it!!!
