The menu is minimalist and synonymous with quality: breast or thigh, left or right. I recommend the classic mix of pasta, potatoes, and bulgur wheat, to experience it like the locals. The owner and his wife are angels. The food is as good as the atmosphere! PS: Ask the owner to stir the coffee; it aerates it :

As we... read more Daniël is a very friendly guy who came from Armenië. I was in the neighborhood with my Citroën DS to look at the place of the attack at the Gaullein 1963. As we both are car lovers it clicked right away. I had a very nice meal and a very good espresso at Chicken-Up I gave him a miniature DS for his fabulous restaurant and he gave me a little Mehari back! When i am in Paris again with my family we absolutily will visit Daniël! I made a roadtrip and the stop at Daniël was one of the heights of it!
