One of the most common reasons for ending a tourist in ciudad guzmán is as a springboard to visit el nevado de colima, the 14,000 large dead volcano its national park less than an hour away. outside the major Mexican cities, it is quite unusual to find restaurants that focus on healthy eating, especially on a vegan diet. but here in ciudad guzmán, saborini (formerly youhealthy) does exactly that. in the interior are presented the certificates of nutritional studies at the university guadalajara from the greender owner. it is not a purely vegan place that is not surprising the understanding of the context at all, but its vegan menu is colorful, diverse and delicious. besides the filled avocado, sweet soup and potato cake we also ordered 2 vegan hamburger to take with us the mountain. everything was fresh and of high quality, this is the place where everyone wants to come by on a plant diet visiting city! updated by the previous review at 2019-05-14

We came here for lunch a few days ago. Cosy restaurant with a huge menu, from seafood to meat to vegan options. You also have breakfast and fruit juices. We had Veg Soup 2 tostadas con chile de uña (tipical regional snack) for appetizers and for the main course Coliflor Potato Hamburger /w Salat Avocado filled with Garbanzo's tomatoes /w red rice and salad. Our lunch was accompanied by agua del dia (Horchata), which we could order with or without sugar. I recommend Saborini if you are looking for a healthy place to have Mexican fusion breakfast or lunch, wheather with meat or veggie, you will find something. The food was delicious and nicely garnished, the service was great. The average price was about 200 pesos. Large
In Guzmán city this restaurant has a very balanced menu. I liked the calorie labels that each dish has. A perfect option for vegans. The chilaquiles from Puebla, delicious. The only detail is the attention, but you must be patient, since the waitresses cannot cope. The appropriate delivery time, since they prepare them at the moment. There is a refill in the pot coffee. Highly recommended to eat here. Vegetarian options: The labels on the dishes indicate the proportion of vegetables or protein. Kid-friendliness: Has a children's section
