Amazing room, nice staff. Had to wave my arms to get service including menu and drink order after being seated. Music could have been better. It was like earthy edm and annoying. Drinks and food were good.
We LOVED Arango!! Everything about our experience was wonderful! The view of El Monumento de la Revolución was breathtaking. The service was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food was delicious, as were the cocktails. I had the tamal and my partner had the chicken. We were there for my birthday and the staff made it a special one, with a surprise! We feel grateful for the experience!
Eating was good, but not exceptional due to CDMX standards. the service left a lot to wish that the wrong drink was brought, and server kept the crooked before we were ready (that is a great no in a good restaurant.) as with most restaurants we consulted the online menu before our visit, but the items we selected as the most interesting disappeared suddenly from the menu in the restaurant itself. either they update the online menu or don't mention anything at all if they can't deliver it. the steak was made beautiful, and the aubergine and the camote purée was delicious. the cornish henne was perfectly prepared and came with a beautiful salad. but the tacos arabes were decent, but rather inconspicuous. there are so many excellent restaurants nearby that I am not sure that I am back to this price to arango.
Food was nothing spectacular. It rained that day and the place was cold, not enough heaters. Spectacular view.
