What User doesn't like about La Aldea:
My friend and I went for lunch on a Sunday (street noise not an issue on Sundays) and sat outside. We each had the bife chorizo(different sizes) which was grilled to our request. Reasonable quality of beef, sides were mashed potato or salad. Wines by the glass and unlike other areas of Argentina, no cubierto. The inside of the restaurant is wood panneled with lots of diverse art(photos of Che Guevara, sports etc). Ou... View all feedback.
We had walked past La Alden a number of times whilst in Mendoza, and on our last day we decided to try it out for lunch.I am so glad we did!Not only does the restaurant have a lovely atmosphere, it has welcoming staff who were friendly and helpful with the menu.We ordered the bife de chorizo, how could we not, and boy, was it good. We had it cooked medium and it was cooked to perfection. It was tender and oh so tasty! We had a side of fries and a really nice salad as well, the salad was huge, it was an excellent portion. We also enjoyed a bottle of wine, they have a great wine selection at reasonable prices. We went on to have many steaks whilst in Argentina, but none compared to the one we had at La Aldea, highly recommended!

Just perfect, very delicious food, nice music, fast service, excellent customer service, you can pay with credit card. Tasty food, nice servings, one good choice to eat good for the right price in a really awesome environment. Most visit!
I recently spent 4 days in Mendoza, Argentina. On our first night in town our host recommended dining at La Aldea Restaurant. We ordered steak (a must in Argentina) with French fries and a tomato salad. The meal was excellent as was the Argentinian so wine that our waiter recommended. We returned the following night for fries and salad...and wine! You do not need a reservation and can find a table outdoors if you are an early diner. The wait staff was helpful with their recommendations - especially in recommeding excellent reasonably priced Argentinian wines. The portions are big so go hungry!
