What User doesn't like about El Pobre Luis:
Chegamos ontem ao local as 23:57 é o gerente da casa nao nos deixou entrar, disse que já estavam lavando a grelha!!!Acho uma falta de respeito tremenda porque eles colocam no site horário das 20:00 as 01:00. Nós clientes sempre consultamos o horário de funcionamento de um estabelecimento nos canais de comunicação onde eles mesmos divulgam. Muito.longe do centro gastamos 250 pesos de taxi para ir e 220 para voltar. Ma... View all feedback.
I myself in January 2022 at 22h. Waiter was quick and attentive. My food arrived fast and was really good. Bill for starters, main, side-dish and 250ml wine was 3,200 (10% tip included). Beautiful and quiet atmosphere.
When we go to the restaurant, we expect two things: good food and good service levels. El Pobre Luis offers a good food, not top food in a beautiful place. Unfortunately, the service level is low. Few examples: the waiter, when the wine tasted cork and the color was strange, tried to convince us that it was the right taste. The waiter must change the bottle and above all he can never be wrong with the guest's hypotheses. Second, when the sauce bottle was finished, he tried to squeeze it and put it on the table and told us it was just waiting. For the service level, El Pobre Luis cannot achieve more than one average rating.
Good food and stuff is all tasty and tasty, thare are a lot of wine options and if u don't have a big eater so take the madio bife
One of the best parrillas in Buenos Aires. Quint place, amazing meat, excellent service and pretty decent prices. We were 10 and booked and early dinners as soon as they open: 08.00 pm... Pamplonas, Uruguay Beef, Provoletas and more, pls see the attached pictures. If you have the chance, give El Pobre Luis an attempt!.
Some local friends took us to this intriguing place hidden in Chinatown. What a gem. Eight of us indulged in a frenzy of meat eating and wine drinking. Due to the depressed state of the Argentinian peso, the bill was only $US 20 per person. Ridiculously good value. The food was sensational as was the wine. Everything was just wonderful. Highly recommended.
