We 've lived in London for over 15 years and came to Porto Empedocle on vacation. Our B&B was on Via Roma, and one evening we happened upon it. We 've been back three more times. The owners, aided by their daughter and another waitress, are fantastic! Friendly, welcoming, always with a smile even when it seems like customers are popping up from under the floorboards, they never miss a beat! The drinks are exceptional (we tried the Negroni, giusto and sbagliato, Americano, and Long Island) and we always had a plate of appetizers to accompany them. We also tried the aprericena: delicious!!! Cured meats, cheeses, potato croquettes, onion rings, fried foods, and bruschetta in more than generous portions! Saying goodbye to the owners upon returning was a bit like saying goodbye to family when leaving the village. I really hope to return!
