Our first time going here and we weren’t disappointed. EVERYTHING was outstanding. We had bacon wrapped scallops, chicken Parmesan and chicken marcelus. Ended it with the butter cake desert and white chocolate crème boulay. Tina was a great waitress. View all feedback.
What Madeline Vogel doesn't like about Francesca's Cucina:
My husband and I regularly joke about how terrible the service is at this restaurant. Entirely unprofessional, standoffish staff. We were one of the first tables to be sat and felt rushed from the moment we sat down. When the waitress brought the check, she stood over his shoulder and impatiently waited for him to get his credit card out of his wallet. After snatching his card, she slopped my leftovers into a to-go c... View all feedback.
Insanely good. This was genuinely the meal of a lifetime. Go here if you like excellent high quality Italian food (who doesn’t), the folk are nice, the atmosphere is nice and the crem bru le is damn near to die for. Will be going again. (It is a bit pricey but worth it for a good experience) Vegetarian options: It’s Italian food. You could probably ask for plain pasta with tomato sauce but, the meat is really good so your missing out Kid-friendliness: If your kid doesn’t like it, they are an elderly man on life support in disguise. Italian food is great if you have a kid because it’s not anything that might be scary to them (some meals are, just don’t have them get it then)
Parking: There is a small free lot near the restaurant, as well as a lower lot around the block from the restaurant. Otherwise, just street parking.
Good food. Atmosphere doesn't quite line up with the price point.
Meal had marinara sauce and was too sweet. Table wasn’t cleared prior to whenever new food plates were put down. Drinks had not enough ice so drinks were flat and warmer. Serving size too small of dipping for bread. Chairs have hard seats.
I have been to this restaurant many time in the past but this time they changed the menus and got new staff and the experience has gone down. For the food, the menus changed taking off many favorites like the chicken franchesca. We were told we can only have 1 piece of bread each because “the chef didn’t make enough” the quality of food also seems less then the past. The service was not good at all. The waitress would roll her eyes when we asked for things and got many things wrong such as our to go dessert and then charged for the wrong items. There was an issue with the drinks where she said there was only enough for one after speaking to the bartender and then said there was a computer issue which makes no sense after we were told there is one more by the bar tender. The restaurant was also very hot with other guests making the comment of the restaurant being very hot. A manager never came over to check on us and I wish they did because for the price, it was absolutely ridiculous and this may be my last time going here after all the changes and bad experience
