Tasty Vietnamese - City of Spruce Grove

This place smelled amazing when I walked in, and was promptly greeted. I ordered a couple subs to go, beef and chicken, which were also amazing. I will definitely return to try more!

We tried this place years ago and it was gross but decided to give it another try since so many people have positive things to say. The ginger beef is inedible, I’ve never had ginger beef this bad. The meat in the vermicelli bowls is all wrong and certainly doesn’t taste like beef or chicken or pork. It numbs the tongue; not due to spice but due to a chemical type flavor. The rice isn’t a good consistency. The chicken in the stir fry tastes like real chicken; but the curry lacks any significant flavor. The spring rolls are fine as is the wonton soup but the rest isn’t very good. I do frequently order vietnamese food from other restaurants but this is not very good. I want to enjoy it as it’s so close to home and I’ve heard good things but it’s bad.

I absolutely love this restaurant! They take allergies very seriously—I have seafood allergies, and I really appreciate their care. Lan and her staff are always incredibly friendly, making you feel like family. The food is consistently hot and delicious. I would definitely give them a higher rating, at least a 10!

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was clean, and the server was very friendly. I look forward to returning to try their pho. Thank you!

My family often comes here for birthdays and special occasions!
