Maria's Cafe Catering

A hidden gem!! Maria is an amazing chef and in my opinion blows other local highly rated restaurants out of the water. I haven't ordered a family meal in a while, if she's doing those, but the chicken marsala is the best around. Big portions for a greatprice. The homemade rolls that come with meals are also to die for and so buttery.

She is one of the best chefs in Schenectady. We ordered steak sliders and poutine, and she prepared a chicken and shrimp Francese with potatoes and asparagus for me. Everything was absolutely delicious. Plus, they now offer delivery, which will make my winter much cozier. It’s a very nice, pleasant café with excellent food and friendly service.

Ordered for the first time today. Food was stale and soaked in oil, bad quality overall never ordering again.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was unpleasant, and the two ladies working there provided extremely slow and unprofessional service. I do not recommend ordering from this place. Additionally, it's better to avoid ordering through Grubhub, as the restaurant does not seem to maintain cleanliness and cannot be trusted. Be cautious if you decide to order from here.

We couldn't express enough gratitude on such an emotionally challenging day. The food arrived hot, fresh, and right on time, and they definitely don’t skimp on portion sizes—we had an abundance of leftovers! What a hidden gem we discovered! I’m sure Maria’s will gain a lot of new customers from everyone who was there. If you need catering and they’re available, don’t hesitate! It was INCREDIBLE! Thank you, Maria’s Cafe!
