What Is C doesn't like about Rye Grill:
I reserved the blue room in January 2024 for a May 5th event. I had a contract that said it was reserved and gave them a $500 deposit. The night before the event we went to set up and we found out they rebooked that room for a larger party. They put us in a smaller room. Never a phone call to bring this to our attention. Great food and atmosphere. Service was good, especially given how completely jammed the place was at that time (Friday ~630pm). The drawback was that it was a hell-of-families-with-little kids. As if the entire town decided they wanted to take their kids out for dinner at the same time and place. It's no fault of RG but diner beware...
Great ambiance, the food is traditional delicious, good proximity to the MetroNorth station.
HIGHLY Recommended!!! 5 stars across the board, honestly everything was great, food, ambience, service, everything!!! We live in Dutchess County but in town for our daughter's wedding at Whitby Castle. Had an amazing meal with some of our out of town guests and we had a blast! Thank you!!! Will definitely be returning soon!
Reallly good burger. Food came out quickly. Service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive even though we didn't order drinks. A bit noisy, but overall very good experience.
Service and all food we had was very good. This was my first visit to the Rye Grill and Bar. I am glad I made reservations. The place was packed on Sunday at 6:15pm. I was on my way home from a Portchester AMC 14 movie and this restaurant was only a couple of miles away and got very reviews so I thought I would try it. The good reviews were correct. Shared a Nachos appetizer which was large and delicious, and I had a medium done burger with sautéed onions that came with fries and fried onions as well and my son had the steak Quesada.
