Wahlburgers - City of New York

Just went the one in Coney Island and they are currently closed. A posted sign says will re-open in April 2019 . I think they closing down all their resturants due to poor management.

Awesome place just always busy and hard to get a place to sit

Food is always good, service is quick and friendly.

Ordered the impossible burger and expected a load of onions, spicy tomatoes, a special sauce, lettuce etc. What I received was totally different: regular tomato, a slab of cold onions and a touch of sauce. The staff was very nice but what we ordered did not turn out as expected. No silverware, cold tater tots and a pathetic salad. Honestly expected much more given Whalburgers fame. Two stars for the kind waiter but no one was in the restaurant...also VERY overpriced.

The only reason I'm giving this place a 3-star rating is because Wahlburgers used to be fantastic when it first opened. Unfortunately, it has since declined to the point where I would give it just 1 star now. The taste of the burgers has significantly decreased, and I can easily make a better burger at home for much less money. I’m not sure what went wrong, but rather than expanding with more locations, I wish they would focus on improving the ones they already have, as the quality has dropped dramatically.
