What User doesn't like about Piece-a-cake:
This place was really nice before the lockdowns. They’ve been phoning it in Ever since. “Fresh” fruit is moments from rotting when served. The “mango” smoothing clearly had not been made with real fruit. They serve pretzels with no dipping sauce. The food and service is an expensive embarrassment and it’s quite clear none for their employees have any pride in what they do. They also don’t have table service. View all feedback.
Hey, I apologize for giving 3 stars for the food, but let me explain! I've been purchasing eclairs from this place for at least four years. About six months ago, I noticed that the eclairs had become a third smaller than they used to be. I told myself, "Okay, that's fine; I guess we all need to cut back a bit!" However, today I bought three eclairs, and all three were half empty with very little cream. The service and atmosphere, as always, were excellent!
Omg I had a cake from here that was so DELICIOUS and FRESH. It was BEAUTIFUL. And let me tell you boy was it heavy….the staff was so amazing, so very nice…I will be going back…
Sent $40 on a birthday cake and a few cookies I hope the cake wows me because the cookies didn't.
This bakery is likely the most unique one on Staten Island.
