From the manager to the waiters and cooks, everyone was very friendly and attentive. Now the food, OMG, it is extremely delicious! I have no idea how they make their marinara sauce, however, it is finger licking good. I had to take an order to go. I am definitely going back! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Michaelangelo's Coal Fired Brick Oven Pizza:
I took my daughter and 3 young nieces to the nybg train show and promised them a fun dinner in an authentic Italian restaurant afterwards. we sat in an outside terrace, which was covered to eat in winter, it was unattractive, the floor slanted, it was moist and inconspicuous. they seemed to be close, but our waitress and busboys did the best they could. the food was good and we enjoyed it. After we were finished and... View all feedback.
The food was superb and ambiance was beautiful! Bread with dipping sauce and the bruchetta were fresh and so tasty. We ordered the margarita pizza and the white pizza and hands down best we have had. Service was a tad slow but worth it. We were not in a hurry. Appeared there was only one server at the time, who was also bussing tables. Can't wait to come back!
Looks very small at first, when you walk in, but opens up tremendously in the back to a nice seating area and bar area (bar not pictured). Would definitely recommend the chicken a la Michaelangelo's which was a great meal with the side of vegetables. The rainbow cake and desert were a great way to finish off the meal. Great price and great restaurant overall.
From the manager to the servers and cooks, everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. Now, let’s talk about the food—oh my goodness, it's absolutely amazing! I have no idea how they create their marinara sauce, but it's finger-licking good. I had to order some to take home. I will definitely be returning!
We were a group of three and were the only patrons when we arrived. We ordered Risotto Arancini and a white pizza, but received a veggie pizza with a white base instead, which I think was due to my voice being a bit muffled by my mask. However, the pizza turned out to be quite tasty. We also enjoyed complimentary breadsticks with salsa while waiting for our meal, which was a nice touch to satisfy our hunger. The restaurant is equipped with two restrooms, and while the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food justified it. My only feedback is regarding the server’s response when I inquired if the Risotto Arancini was vegetarian but contained eggs. He mentioned that it had cheese, which is fine for vegetarians but not for vegans. It would be helpful if the staff is better informed about the differences between vegan and vegetarian options, as this would assist customers like me who have dietary restrictions. Overall, I would definitely visit again when I’m in Little Italy.
We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday here, and it was a fantastic experience. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our celebration so enjoyable, even during these challenging Covid times.
