My co-worked brought me here for a late dinner meeting. I have never tried West African food and boy was I blown away!! You can dine-in or take-out. They didn?t have the traditional waiter bringing your dish to your table; rather they call you over to the pick up window to get your dish on a tray. Self serving is a culture here. The food came out quickly, tasted fresh was delicious. So good I ordered another plate to... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Baobab Gouygi 2:
Food was old, I waited 3 hours almost 4. They sent me an old food and when I asked for my refund or discount, he played me. Every time I call, he is doing something. Soon ill post the pictures. Old salad with eggs in it. Plus, I have to wait 3 hours. You don't play with your customers like that. Because the business is surviving thanks to the customers. You gave me your number to call you for a new food or money and... View all feedback.
I had an outstanding first experience at this restaurant, but my second visit was disappointing because my dish wasn't prepared correctly. When I returned, they offered to refund my money, but I chose to have my food replaced instead. The cashier and the gentleman were very kind and accommodating. I'll definitely be coming back! It's a fantastic local spot—let's support small businesses!
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food I received was old, and I waited nearly four hours for it. When I asked for a refund or a discount, the staff was unhelpful and seemed to avoid my concerns. Every time I tried to call, he was busy with something else. I’ll be posting pictures soon, as the salad I received was old and had eggs in it. Waiting three hours is unacceptable. It's important to treat customers well because their support is what keeps a business going. I called the number you provided for a resolution, but now it's like you don’t even remember me. Good luck.
The restaurant offers authentic Senegalese cuisine that is well-balanced and served in a clean environment. The owner is a lovely Senegalese lady who is incredibly sweet. I highly encourage you to support her and her welcoming staff. We absolutely love the food! Dieuredieuf!

This is some of the best food I've had in NYC. I didn't know what to order but I got some lamb dish and another with chicken and millet. The millet was so fine and delicious, I've never had it like that. The food is so packed with flavor. The craziest thing is that when the chef gave us the food, she said, I hope you like it Well, I not only like it, I love it!!! Highly recommend!!!
