I recently ordered a pepperoni pizza from La Strada, and let me tell you, it's hands down the best pizza I've had in Brooklyn in ages! Sure, it's not as fancy as some other spots like Juliana's in Dumbo or those other pretentious pizza places across the city, but when it comes to the essentials – sauce, cheese, and crust – La Strada is the real deal. The taste is simply unbeatable View all feedback.
What Erin McLaughlin doesn't like about La Strada Pizzeria:
FALSE MARKETING! The Caesar salad has no Caesar dressing on it. Zucchini sticks are soggy. Broccoli boiled not sautéed. Also no Julius Caesar in salad either …….. why ???????? View all feedback.
I ordered a chicken parmigiana hero with light sauce and a single slice of pizza to enjoy while I waited. The slice was decent—good, but not extraordinary—serving as a solid example of New York pizza. The chicken parm hero was just okay; the best part was definitely the bread: warm, soft, and crunchy. The chicken and cheese were fresh, but the sauce had that metallic taste that can sometimes occur, which is why I typically opt for light tomato sauce. The menu offers a variety of pizza slices and food options, including beef patties, wraps, and garlic knots. My meal came to a reasonable total of $17.50 for the slice, a Snapple green tea, and the hero. The most surprising element was the religious material stuffed in the bag with my food. While I understand the desire to share beliefs, it wasn't necessary. Overall, the food was just okay.

I recently ordered a pepperoni pizza from La Strada, and I can confidently say it's the best pizza I've had in Brooklyn in a long time! While it may not be as upscale as some other places like Juliana's in Dumbo or some of the more pretentious pizza joints around the city, La Strada truly excels in the essentials – sauce, cheese, and crust. The flavor is absolutely unmatched!
Really beautiful place and delicious rolls. It's a shame that they don't sell beer because it's the perfect company for a pizza
My fiance brought me to this shop, knowing I was a pizza connoisseur , they did not let me down. Every slice I tried was awesome.
