best espresso in the area! they roast their own beans. great seating options, both indoors and out. i’ve only ever eaten one of their baked goods, but from what i’ve seen the stuff coming out of the kitchen also looks solid. View all feedback.
What Chris L doesn't like about Kos Kaffe Roasting House:
This place is cute and the staff are pleasant enough. My coffee was fine, if a bit watery. The place was very loud, but you could probably have had a conversation with your table without issue. The establishment is pretty dirty though, there's coffee splashes on the walls and noticeable dirt on the fans. Friendly staff and great espresso . Love grounded coffee beans to buy for my best Turkish coffee at home.Food: 5/5
Kos Kaffe has a nice atmosphere, on an aesthetic and social/community level. With big airy windows, sidewalk tables, and a writerly vibe. The servers are sweet and efficient. In terms of the physical, they have a major ventilation issue, so the atmosphere will also impart a smoky bacon and cheese grease scent layer onto you and your belongings. I hope they endeavor to improve their indoor air quality. Sounds snarky but there have been times when I have walked in and it has repulsed me.The food is pretty nice, and the coffee is really good quality. The iced basil lemonade and iced tea selection is banging. The tofu bahn mi is nicely prepared but the overall flavor profile is lacking. Skip this bahn mi, and that of Winner as well, and go to Hanco’s for that. Hands down.

The establishment is pretty dirty though, there's coffee splashes on the walls and noticeable dirt on the fans. I only noticed this because their Wi-Fi throttled me after an hour and kicked me off every 5 minutes, which gave me ample time to look for things like dirt and grime. It's a decent place but unstable internet is unfortunately a hardstop. Come with a friend, but not to work!
Coffee maybe good, but I don't drink coffee. I ordered a cup of matcha latte. It was $7ish, taste just like water. Also, employee reactions were so unfriendly. It was my first time so I wasn't sure what sandwich to order and no one else was on the line except me. And yeahhh, it was my first and would be last time.Food: 1/5
Pretty good food! The bread wasn’t my favorite as it was a seeded bread with rye, but the produce on my sandwich was alright! I got an iced matcha latte that was very refreshing and balanced. I also appreciate that they do provide water free of charge. Not bad for a sandwich and coffee, just a touch on the pricier side.
