This place is a definite go to for me when I don?t want to cook and one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. The home style food is always fresh and delicious. 2 of my favorites are the Pollo Guisado and the Pernil but everything I?ve tried hasbeen amazing. I placed an order online at the restaurant below. They said they didn't receive it and that I had to pay cash to get my order, so I did that. They advised me to contact MenuStar to get a refund. Great food but be advised their online system to order,unless Uber or GrubHub, isn't functioning properly and they were unable to help me. Place is strange to say the least. I walked in and was greeted by food on the steam table which was a welcome sight. However the restaurant itself was incredibly dark and appeared to be operating as a club? There were bottles of alcohol on the floor behind the bar so unsure to if it was a club or not. The place was not the cleanest of restaurants.The food was pretty good though so if you're willing to take the chance go ahead.
The service here is horrible and management is disgusting! They are no help and fend for themselves, if you encounter a problem they will not acknowledge their error. They are very selective with who to grant good customer service. I was told by management I am black, don 't play with me just because I asked what happened? on a situation that arose.
TAKE OUTThe Geminis II restaurant offers ample space and tasty food, though the texture was a bit soggy. My order of stewed chicken did not include any greens, but a salad option was available. Utensils were provided without needing to ask and accepts credit card payment. They do not have their own parking lot but you can find parking on the street. Ambiance is not relevant to the experience.
Great Dominican food. Nothing fancy. I wouldn’t dine here but the FOOD cannot be beat. Best Dominican food in all of Williamsburg!!
