Ok. They have all the Irish beers, yum. But the food is even better. The chicken pot pie- to die for. The pastry on top is a meal by itself. We also had the chicken wings. A little different but so good. Came with lots of carrots and celery. Will be back. Probably tomorrow. View all feedback.
What Jessie H doesn't like about Emmett's Grill:
Came here for drinks, the vodka soda was a bit watered down. The place is really big- plenty of space. Causal place to grab a drink! I can't speak for the food since I didn't order any. View all feedback.
I had a delicious meal at this restaurant. While the steaks were just average, the Irish dishes were exceptional. The atmosphere was really enjoyable, and the location is perfect, just a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. The only downside was the lack of free refills on soda. However, the service was excellent, and our water glasses were always full.
This is a fantastic place located right next to all the Broadway shows! We popped in for a quick meal before attending Chicago, and it turned out to be a great choice. Our group of four was seated promptly at 6 PM, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The portion sizes were generous, and everything we tried was delicious. I ordered the vegetable ravioli and really enjoyed both the sauce and the pasta itself. The Bay Breeze cocktail was also very enjoyable—perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, just the way I like it!
I visited this restaurant for drinks, and I found the vodka soda to be somewhat watered down. The venue is quite spacious, offering plenty of room to relax. It's a casual spot to enjoy a drink! I can’t comment on the food since I didn’t order any.
Let's start with the positive. The shepherd's pie was very good. My coworker got the chicken pot pie and he said jr was also good although he had to use a knife to cut the Puff pastry on top because it was so hard. Now the negative. What Irish pub does not know what a snakebite is? The traditional Irish/English mix of half cider half lager is common in all Irish pubs. When I got a glass of Smithwicks (a red ale not a lager) with a splash of cider, it just was mind blowing. Basically if you want a warm meal but don't care about a traditional Irish pub, then go.
