Simply the best deli/restaurant in NYC. Milk and honey cream of wheat is just the best.Always interesting, delicious and well prepared food in a meticulously clean and professional environment. Other deli/restaurants need to take careful notes. That is how it's done. View all feedback.
What Dennis Bonilla doesn't like about Dishes:
In the photo is a $17 plate. I almost dropped when she told me the total for this! But I said whatever paid it and went on my way. Not only was this plate overpriced, it was a waste of money and disappointment. The sausages were over cooked, dry, and hard. The French toast was hard, and the egg whites were so over saturated with fats and oil it was mushy and disgusting. If you’re charging $17 for BS atleast let it be... View all feedback.

Just stick to their over priced pastries.
Dishes is a casual restaurant that serves American comfort food in a cozy setting. The menu features a variety of classic dishes, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and pasta. The prices are reasonable, making it a good option for a quick and affordable meal in the midtown area. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. While the food is not particularly innovative or gourmet, it is well-prepared and satisfying. Some standout dishes include the Dishes burger, which comes with crispy bacon and cheddar cheese, and the BBQ chicken sandwich, which is served on a toasted brioche bun with tangy BBQ sauce.Overall, Dishes is a solid option for a casual meal in midtown, with reasonable prices and friendly service. While the food is not particularly memorable or unique, it is tasty and satisfying. One of my favorite is Sushi and chicken on Friday(Day might probably change).
Offers what you would expect from a NYC deli. Their prices are higher than what is listed. Ordered an egg with spinach and peppers in a wrap and was charged for an omelette. The deli is clean and there is plenty of room to eat there.
