I requested only legs and thighs, but I received breasts and wings as well, which I really dislike. However, the chicken was very delicious, and the delivery was excellent. View all feedback.
What Kaci Gorczany doesn't like about Crown Fried Chicken:
They're kind of a hit miss when it comes to their chicken. Not all the time it's good its either wayyyy too salty or lacks favor. You'll be lucky to get a good batch. I still support them since they're right up the block View all feedback.
The service was excellent, but the food was disappointing and overpriced.
I was looking for a simple fried chicken spot without any fancy extras. As a native of New Orleans, I'm accustomed to some of the best fried chicken out there. That's how I ended up at Crown Fried Chicken. There was a small line that was moving at a decent pace, which made me feel optimistic since I assumed their chicken would be fresh and not sitting out for too long. Unfortunately, I was mistaken! I ordered a six-piece meal with fries and ended up with one drumstick and five thighs. The chicken was terrible! It was old, dry, and tough. I took a bite of each piece, and they were all difficult to chew. They had a bit of flavor, and I might have enjoyed them if they had been hot and fresh. Sadly, I won’t be returning. I should have taken it as a warning when the person taking my order seemed to look right through me to ask someone outside what they wanted while I was standing right in front of him.
This is the second review I’m writing, and it just goes to show how fantastic this place is. The staff is extremely friendly, and the prices are excellent. The spicy chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious, especially with the onion rings. I highly recommend it!

The chicken was excessively salty, making it inedible. I had to toss it out.
