Ran in on my way to LIRR to pick up the baked good of the gods, Almojabanas. Not only were they warm, fresh out of the oven at 10:30 am, but they were incredible. The perfect combination of crisp outside and soft, chewy inside. If you are constantly disappointed by pan de queso at Brazilian restaurants (like I am) come here. Their empanadas are the best in queens... esp the baked chicken ones, so good... as are their other pastries. Yum!
I love the empanadas , they are fresh and yummy , the place is clean and cozy , my only complaint is the noise , the music is to loud and you can’t even hear if you are in the phone or chatting with someone. But the price and taste of empanadas was so good!
Great bake Goods, but I notice since 2 years ago they don't do their oatmeal drink as the original one. It's taste nasty now like oatmeal milk, unlike the oatmeal done from the pot thick substance and you see a little bit of the oatmeal from scratch. Did they change management since 2 years ago?
Great service and unlike other places bread is hot at 5:30 in the morning
