What F R doesn't like about Buttercup Bake Shop:
They definitely keep their old brownies in stock from week to week. Their other store has always had good quality and fresh batches, but this store is clearly neglecting their product standards. Bought two brownies and this is what they looked like. It's clearly not fresh more like it's more than a week old. If this the case, I'm not sure how old the products are that they sell us. This business has excellent products, fresh, tasty, and affordable. I forgot my bosses birthday a few weeks ago and I ordered his cake the same day it was delivered. It was perfect and he was very happy.
The s'mores cupcake wasn't good, dry and it becomes crumbs. I ordered a dulce de leche and they give a strawberry chocolate, wasn't bad better than the s'mores.
The ube cupcake was delicious! The cake had a moist texture that wasn't overly crumbly or sweet. The frosting was a bit too sweet for my taste, and I would have liked it to have an even stronger ube flavor. The cashier was friendly and welcoming. There’s no indoor seating, but I believe they have a bench outside for warmer days.
We ordered a variety of cupcakes from Buttercup Bake Shop for an office party, and they were a huge hit! The selection of flavors was impressive, and the presentation was stunning. The taste was absolutely perfect—definitely a 10/10. We will definitely be ordering from them again!
My wife and I spent the holidays in New York during a very chilly Christmas this past year. After doing some shopping at Macy's on Christmas Eve, we walked back to our hotel on E33rd Street near Park Avenue and stumbled upon this hidden gem of a bake shop. The pastries, cupcakes, and mini cheesecakes were absolutely outstanding. In fact, I returned that very night for more! The gentleman who was running the shop that evening was incredibly kind and added to the charming atmosphere of this delightful little bake shop.
