I visited a couple of days ago and I'm happy to say that the restaurant has returned to the high standards it had when it first opened. It seems there may have been a change in management, and if that’s the case, it was a smart decision. The service was impressive, and the table manners were excellent. The place was clean, and the food was exceptional. It brought back memories of the old Brick Lane on 6th Street down... View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Brick Lane Curry House Ues:
I received confirmation of my reservation from OpenTable via email, only to arrive at a restaurant that had been shut down. The place was dark, and there were notices posted in the windows. Unfortunately, my group and I had to come up with alternative plans. View all feedback.
We went to celebrate two birthdays. The staff, but Gaurang in particular, were amazing in their attention to our dining experience. The food was amazing, the service even more so, and all of it made for one of the most memorable dining experiences of my life, no kidding.
Phaal curry is to die for. Many curries have veggie options
The food is delicious but we didn't like how we were rush out . They took our plates before we finished really felt uncomfortable. It was only 9pm
We are familiar with the downtown site, but had not noticed it in our neighborhood. We brought 2 good friends who are also pro-Indian foodies, and we sat in the back; which was pleasantly quieter, but not as interesting as the front. The food was great, over a number of Indian sub-categories from Goan, to Punjabi, to Karalan. We will go again, and heartily recommend it.
There were a few days back. finally the place is back, it is standard when they open first. seems to be a change of administration. if they have made the right decision. the service was very impressive table manners were excellent. clean and eating was excellent. it reminded me of the old brick trace on the 6th st. inner city. keep it nice to the people to have the old brick trace behind cheers.
