This was my second visit and it will be the last one. The food is a weird combination that doesn't seem standard Chinese and is mostly tasteless. The service is just about acceptable. There is better than this in the area, and in fact the restaurant was empty, and it was a Saturday night View all feedback.
I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for years, but after experiencing a string of bad meals, this month was the final straw. In the past, I have fallen ill after eating here, but never attributed it to the food until my last order, where I discovered insects in the chicken - one beetle and one fly! Despite informing the restaurant of this disturbing find and waiting for a response from the owner (which I have yet to receive), I would strongly advise against dining here. It's no surprise that the restaurant is always empty - I learned my lesson the hard way.
Wonton soup very good, also anatra delicious. Very kind staff. For one who does not particularly love to eat Chinese food, surely a great surprise!
Food is very good here with a lovely selection of dishes to suit everybody. Service is satisfactory. Decor is simple with plain furnishings however food is good and reasonably priced. Can recommend.
Delicious Chinese food, beef stew, hofun, chicken salt fish fried rice are my favourites, given a days notice we sometimes get lobster noodles, steam scallops.
We have been dining at Yumi.com since it first opened and have never been let down. The food is traditional Chinese cuisine, with generous portions and consistently polite and friendly service, which is not always the norm in Chinese eateries. For a unique experience, we recommend trying the dishes listed in Chinese on the menu. With reasonable prices and delicious food, Yumi.com has become a regular spot for us.
