Waxy O'connor's Pub

I absolutely adore the quirky maze-like layout of this pub with the impressive tree in the center. The atmosphere is fantastic and oozes with charm. It's a good spot for a casual lunch of burgers and chips, but even better for drinks in the evening. Its central location is a huge plus. I highly recommend stopping by!

Excellent pub to visit. Very quirky inside with little nooks and crannies to sit and explore. Reasonably priced drinks and friendly staff.

Avoid this restaurant due to unfriendly door staff. When we tried to sit at a free outdoor table, we were asked to move with a rude and aggressive attitude from the doorman. Not a pleasant experience at all. There are much better dining options nearby that I would recommend instead.

Great atmosphere friendly staff. Great to see all the Irish drinks we have at home here for us too. Will be back

Ordered 2pints of Guinness at the bar and was charged £14.91. I queried why I was charged an odd number. Without a word spoken I was rudely handed a receipt; there was a 5% service charge added. I pointed out that service charge is optional and was met with silence. I was then handed the Guinness with further refusal to reply to my query. I’m sorry by this is dumb insolence and reflects poorly on the establishment that I won’t be revisiting.
