determined to try tukdin after having gone many paintings to foot and it was always busy to see (also I had asked for something wicy). we had to share the mee goreng mamak, ananas curry and eisambal for the main thing, and the pisang goreng with ice for dessert. crafts are satisfied. we were always skeptical when it comes to Malaysian food in western countries, but this place was not disappointed. What User doesn't like about Tukdin:
I was using for iftar. nasi lemak tukdin was beautiful with generous serving of cocosy, sardelle in gravur and fried huh terong berlada and sambal sotong were too oily. a little more spiciness would be promoted. in portions were plentiful of the place was nice with a bed room. service was friendly. We loved this place, we went with Malaysian friends, they said that eating was authentic and we loved it. the beef return was out when this world is recommended.
Small and well-guided space in bays water. had sambal garnels and Malaysian fish cure. good service and very pocket-friendly place. the bold aromen are clear.

I've been wanting to come here for a long time and was in the area on Saturday so popped in. I was actually disappointed with the food. The chicken Satay was bad. Over cooked, dry and hard, it tasted like it as been pan fried and not grilled. The beef rendang was just okay, I have definitely had better. It's may favourite Malaysian dish and I think it lacked depth in flavour, maybe needed more cooking time for the flavours to infuse better. Lasty, the banana fritters where not good at all. It's a shame. I was looking forward to the food but was expecting better. Of course there's a lot more things on the menu, but i doubt I'd go back sadly.
