What User doesn't like about The Strand Dining Rooms:
The beach dining establishment offers classic and traditional English food at an affordable price. They currently have a special deal on set meals with a cocktail included. The restaurant is elegant, spacious, and perfect for large groups or parties. Though my main dish appeared simple, it was actually very flavorful and well-cooked. The poached egg was a lovely addition. The presentation could use some improvement.... View all feedback.
This restaurant is a fantastic venue located just a short distance from Trafalgar Square. They offer a great value afternoon tea, with sweet treats that change daily based on the freshest ingredients and the chef's selection. The flavors were delicious and unique. Guests have the option to sit outside and enjoy people-watching. Inside, there are various rooms to dine in, including a private section for group reservations.

...we made that short stroll down to The Strand Dining Rooms, which literally sits just off Trafalgar Square and next to Charing Cross Station. It's been revamped immaculately. The room was been designed by none other than, Russell Sage. If you've got the cash to splash, Russell is the go-to
Visited for breakfast with a large group for a networking event. Staff are helpful and lovely and the eggs florentine was spot on buttery spinach and lemony hollandaise with perfect runny poached eggs. Couple of details coffee was flowing but had to keep asking for milk why not put jugs on the table? Also butter arrived about mins after toast. Small things though, its a gorgeous venue and would love to try it for dinner.

We stumbled upon a restaurant with a decent looking menu and availability of tables, so we decided to stop there rather than continue searching. We ended up dining at a beachfront restaurant. The details of the meal itself are a bit fuzzy in my memory. We were seated promptly without a reservation on a Friday evening at 4 o'clock. We sat on the right side of the restaurant, so I didn't get a good view of the surroundings. We quickly made our dinner selections as we wanted to visit the national gallery before it closed.
