that's a nice pub. smaller than the outside world can be applied. they have a great choice of cake and the ones I had were just great. her steak and ale pier has won awards so that they keep it on the menu. they also make a tort tasting with three of their torts paired with a beer/sale. the personal is very friendly. as is expected from the opposite, cakes are about £15 and are not very large. but you don't let a sta... What User doesn't like about The Old Bank Of England:
A mostly good restoration of a historic city venue next to the Law Courts. However food is extremely average (service is good and efficient) and certainly not at the level of Fuller's pubs (for example) which also occupy interesting properties. We had an extremely poor fish and chips (with more batter than fish) and sub standard Pie, pathetic salad and very bland tomato soup. I don't expect to be comparing against we... View all feedback.

Oh my goodness what a beautiful venue! The food also showed great attention to detail. Staff lovely. I think the most attractive pub I've been to in London, you have to check it out!

This place is absolutely beautiful. Needless to say it is worth visiting to see the gorgeous decorations, high ceilings with lamps. The music was also good:
Pies or fish and chips, cocktails for less and a tourist Icon. What More do you need !!? Table 25, for the Sweeny Todd experience. Party of 30 or more on the Route Master double decker in the courtyard. Or served by a genuine banker mixologist to provide you with mouth watering cocktails........ Charlie, Joe, Henry Dom, too name a few !!
