very good classic afternoon in a beautiful and bright environment. the service is polite, but not the warmest. the food was delicious, they have an interesting selection of tees. the room is quiet and the tables are not too close to each other, which is always beautiful. we had a nice time! What User doesn't like about The Goring Afternoon Tea:
generally a good visit, but a few tweaks could dramatically improve the dings. 1. supplying the three afternoon tea elements at the same time means that due to the time they come into the terrace items like the opernkuchen is warm and unpleasant in the sun coming through the conservatory roof. 2. five different bakes for a table of two to serve is a strange mix with someone who fights over a single object. yes I am a... Beautiful stay...a night for our last days in London. My daughter was so enthusiastic about the quality of everything and the staff was wonderful. When we went to go to the airport construction had blocked exits everywhere and nothing moved. Peter Sweeney, the iconic Turkman, employed 57 years and as he says on probation, went to the end of the lane and began to direct the traffic to move us. What do you say... beyond and beyond. Our lunch, dinner and breakfast was excellent, again the service was top notch. Very, very, recommended!
The words fail to express pleasure and experience from the moment of entry into the hotel. Staff service is welcoming and professional, it took us a while to set up and enjoy the charm of the place, and order from the varied menu. And when the first dish comes, from serving on the plate, the first bite and the flavors you experience. We take your time, absolutely amazing. Places to be known in London. Very recommended
My husband and I came for a very late afternoon tea (6pm) and had the most beautiful time. It was our first afternoon tea, and our server Emily was a real pleasure. She was very helpful, kept us smiling and laughing all the time and made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend for an afternoon tea that feels extravagant without feeling pretentious!

This place is one of the most famous in the area. I've been here for years. If you stay for a few days, you won't regret it. We went for afternoon tea that was brilliant, endless supplies of tea, sandwiches, scones and cakes. The service was OK, good on arrival, and then a little bit left. The location, the conservatory, was beautiful and it had all the sophistication you would expect from a first class hotel in London.
We found the hotel rooms quiet, well maintained and the room service team had impeccable manners and service. The team was attentive but not overbearing both at the Goring bar/restaurant and room service. The location can't be beat with it's proximity to Victoria Station, Belgravia and Buckingham Palace. Treat yourself to the experience and you will leave refreshed and relaxed.
