Called in here two or three times on a recent visit to London. I didn't eat there as it was either early evening or later at night, but they had a great selection of real ales and the atmosphere was warm and friendly, as were the staff. View all feedback.
What StressFreeBoy doesn't like about St Brides Tavern:
Went in here for a quick drink on way to hotel and pleasantly surprised how packed it was. Although didn't eat the food looked healthy portions and well cooked Sat in corner and staff extremely friendly View all feedback.
Causal indoor and streetside space to enjoy a cold beverage. Nicely located off the main street , for a cold beer or glass of wine.
Nothing against the pub, only we went hoping for food, since it got such good reviews as a restaurant in 2020. They told us they no longer serve food so we went elsewhere.
A warm welcome goes a long way and can be quite a rare thing in central London. St Brides is a great, traditional pub with just such a welcome from Karen and her bar staff. The pub has interesting (art nouveau? decor and is handily located for Blackfriars and Fleet Street. Highly recommended.
Easier the best pub in Fleet Street . Thank you all and Katie! Thanks for putting up with us! always appreciated ! Xxx have to add text to send this blah blah blah.
