Spicey Basil

Always a fantastic meal at Spicy Basil on the A5 into London town ! Had the Pad Thai this time and it was flavoursome and fresh. Also had a coconut water drink which added a spash of the tropics to the meal

One of the worst customer service I’ve had in any establishment. I’ve been here many times, I never usually write reviews. After making a mistake on the order, I had to drive back half an hour to then be accused of falsifying (after spending £95). It was unbelievable, I was speechless at the exchange. I wasn’t even that upset until she accused me of rewriting the order saying I may have just added it in. It was my wife’s birthday, and soured the whole evening. I can’t believe the sheer disgruntled mess and attitude, I would have let it go if it wasn’t for the attitude and the accusations. I’ve been here many times. This is terrible.

I can’t believe this place only has 4 stars overall, it’s the best food ever, been going for 10+ years it’s never once disappointed. I normally get chicken pad thai but everything is 10/10

We always order take away. What I really like is the fact that the kitchen is visible to everyone, so you have 100% guarantee the food is fresh and the kitchen and cooks are maintaining high standards of hygiene. The food is delicious and we refer at lest 3 times a month It's a cash only restaurant, so make sure you have it ready when you go.

I wish I could give 10 stars, always the best restaurant in London, if you are in the area it's worth to try
