Despite a few negative reviews regarding service, the experience overall is positive with delicious food and friendly staff. The Sunday roast is highly recommended, as well as the fish and chips. The pub features a bustling environment on weekend nights, making for a lively and enjoyable evening. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this pub is a must-visit for a taste of classic English charm with a modern twist.
Just before the closing time I had not eaten a pint. shepherd neame ale was good. several couples who get frisky made it a bit awkward.
That is an absolute gem, definitiw my top pubs in knightsbridge. Although the place is almost always packed, the long served makes the queuing much more convenient. the pub belongs shepherd brewery, which owns the license for Dutch beer oranjeboom in Great Britain. I don't think I saw another pub serving the beer in london. If you're here, don't forget to try, you won't be disappointed.
Delicious lunch and friendly service. beautiful atmosphere. I was somewhat disappointed by the size of the trout, as shown below. also I would say it is a 2 or 3 restaurant no longer one after the renovation.
Best fish and chips we had in london. each detail was done to their best skills and the ambiente was also amazing. must try: Squirting chips, sticky toffee pudding please jump: gnocchi
Best fancy pub in London. I used to come here before they renovated and loved it as a proper English pub, and I can’t believe they updated it in a way that somehow made it classy without losing its character. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing food. The street is beautiful as well. We had out post wedding drinks here and photos taken down the road.
