While some diners experienced issues with service and billing accuracy, others praised the delicious meats and sides available. The restaurant has made adjustments due to Covid, but the food quality remains consistent. Overall, Preto is recommended for meat lovers looking for a unique dining experience. The staff is described as attentive and friendly, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. While some changes have been made, such as the removal of the self-serve salad bar, the delicious cuts of meat and tasty food remain a highlight of the dining experience.
Booked a table and the nice receptionist who doubled up as a waitress was clearly new, she’d no idea on the booking system or any other questions about the food. Obviously not her fault but the restaurant management’s for not adequately training their staff on even the basics. The salad accompaniments were ok, a little different to the usual and the meats were delicious (particularly the steak) and plentiful with lots of stopping by our table with skewers. We enjoyed our visit but the venue was over lit which made it lacking in atmosphere. I’d happily try another Preto elsewhere.
We had such a great time here today. The food was amazing, the staff serving meat were brilliant, charismatic and attentive. Drinks were great, service brilliant. Christiana, the manager was phenomenal. She is constantly watching to check buffet levels, drinks needed, bill requests etc. All the while maintaining such a fun and upbeat spirit. You can see that each member of the team respond to that and are on the ball, getting the job done, with a positive and customer friendly attitude. Couldn't fault our evening. Thank you to all for such a great night.
Full buffet for 2 was 65,9 service fee 12,5%. You can eat meat and other things how much you like. Meat was actually very good and soft pork, chicken but beef was not soft, even it was medium. However, if you prefer just a steak, it's reasonable to prefer some classy restaurant and you get a little better atmosphere. But if you can load and load, especially meat, it's a good choice. Stuff is bringing meat to your table and is very friendly.
After waiting for 25 minutes for my meat at the restaurant, the server approached the table next to mine, which had arrived 10 minutes after me. He served them 3 different kinds of meat while I still hadn't received anything. When I called out to him, he ignored me, making me feel discriminated against for the first time in my life. I wondered if it was because I am Hispanic. Frustrated, I decided to just pay for the 4 pieces of potatoes I had eaten and leave. The waiter did apologize and didn't charge me for the meal, but I left without having lunch.
The meat was incredibly juicy and tender, with a good variety to choose from. The salad bar was impressive and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The staff were friendly and made us feel right at home. It's a great place to try new foods. I was able to use my carer's card for a free meal. I would give it a 10/10, definitely worth a visit when exploring London.
