While many rave about the exquisite desserts, especially the cakes, and the creativity in its vegetarian offerings, service issues have marred the experience for some patrons. Frequent complaints include a lack of attentiveness and a dismissive attitude from staff. Despite the uneven service, the rich flavors and quality of dishes, like the Margherita pizza and French toast, keep food lovers returning—culminating in a spot that excels for its atmosphere and culinary potential, but with room for improvement in service.
We were twice dessert for coffee. the dessert is really good, especially the cake. the service was however terrible involuntary, cold and slow. the manager was both very rude. I wouldn't recommend it.
Very beautiful ambiente and a complete British experience. many great options for vegetarier. I did it at night. very fast service and hospitable staff.
Visited with a friend. good ambiente, good service a little slow. ordered chicken risotto and portobello mushrooms! the mushrooms were good, the risotto was in order. would have preferred the set menu, but maybe another time.
Directly on the wooden road of St. john. recommended by a friend as we house hunting in the opposite beautiful selection of pastries and tee. many history. beautiful place for an evening tea. her suppe of the day was also very good.
For a restaurant of this quality, I'd have to say it is expensive. The interior is outstanding, as are the staff, but the pasta leaves a lot to be desired. Other local chain restaurants offer far better food, but for ambiance and pastries/confectionary, it is the best in the area.
