Revolution bars are dotted around the country, there is one in my hometown bristol, but I never visited. I know now that I miss. the central londoner venue is in a great location not too obvious that it is packed, but simply enough to get if they want (and they should.) I went with a few friends for a girl out at night, and we all ordered various eating out of the extensive, and all tasty sound, menu. I finally decided for the bbq burger meal was after so much consultation. the burger was perfectly boiled, stacked in a brioche back with speck, wobble rings and BBQ sauce, and accompanied by some beautiful chips served in a sweet little cup. the whole meal was served on a wooden board that was a nice note, and the portion size was great. Luckily I have a lot of drinks to wash everything at 2 4 1 on their happy hour deal. from an erdnus butter martini, which was not as beautiful as I thought it was a fantastic selection of tasteful vodka dishes, the beverage menu is even longer than eating one. revolutionary are famous for their taste wodka, and we chose the two sticks that come with dishes in some of their most popular aromen. a highlight for me was the salted caramel, but I would recommend to avoid the black pfeffer! we had set ourselves in a big stand in front of the detention center, and we spent several hours there without having to leave at any time. the host was so friendly to chat and make sure we had a great time, and she really did our day. overall revolution bars are great places to go for a celebration, or if they stay at the bar then a fabulous cocktail or two. Top tip: arrive a little earlier than they want to eat, as the bar will fill up later. they can order a drink while they wait, sure with the fact that they have a good table.
Revolution (or revs) is usually known for its drinks and bar/club nights. they have a truly extensive range of alcohol and even store all the main brands of certain spirits. the bar menu has a large list of funny cocktails many are quite sweet: some have actually sweets in them. there is also a frozen sleep like cocktail that would be perfect to sip on a summer evening. Drinks are not cheap, but they are quite reasonable for what they get. knowing as a place to go for a nice drink, I was a bit tangible how you would eat for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by the search for the menu as they offer an equally appealing list of dressed on many with alcoholic sauces! I love their 'bad young ' pizza and burger perfect for meat lovers, and very tasteful. they also have some chili infused dishes if the alcohol is not enough for them! for a chain, revs also has quite beautiful decoration often with a chandelier or environmental lighting. I recommend the venue for groups together or parties.
It’s one of those bars that are great to go with friends. Their flavoured shots were amazing! I really loved it and there is a good variety of that around. They had cheaper deals for the shots (6 shots for £10 otherwise one shot was £2.25) but this was their already made shots and you could not choose. It was still good. I love that they did happy hour, I went on a Friday night and the happy hour was 2-4-1. We also purchased the revolution card which allowed us to have the happy hour until the end of the night which was good. I loved the cocktails. One downfall was that on the website it said it closes at 1, but in fact we was told to leave around 12. The security guards were friendly and really lovely but we wanted to know why it was not open until 1am as stated. Either way, it was a good night and a good place to chill!
My department and I had the masterclass last night with Ella and Nicole. They were absolutely brilliant and had such a great time! We learnt how to make some cocktails, then was able to make one of our choice from the large list available, followed by a team race where one of you had to wear a blindfold and be guided by your team make to cocktail. The platters tasty and the bar staff were so friendly and helped us store a birthday cake and were kind enough to light candles and help us sing for our team member. Cool venue, great vibe. Will definitely come back. Thank you!
This revolution bar is better than most of the others I've been to as it's got more room to move around and is better staffed as far as bar service. I really enjoyed the brick tunnel walkways in the back as it gives the place a nice atmosphere. My friend had her hen party here and booked the back area for her private party which was a £300 min spend for that area. It meant we had enough room to dance and sit on the couches. Enjoyed more than I normally do when going to revolution bar not the obnoxious young crowd like the one closer to London bridge. Will be back xx
