While some patrons rave about the cozy ambiance, generous portions, and delightful brunch options, others express disappointment over overpriced menus, slow service, and occasional rudeness from staff. Despite the inconsistencies, many appreciate its 24/7 availability and quirky decor, making it an appealing choice for late-night dining or casual meet-ups. From stellar vegan breakfasts to charming customer service, this establishment manages to cater to diverse tastes, though visitors are advised to keep expectations balanced. Overall, it's a spot worth exploring, albeit with cautious optimism.
This place is grossly overpriced. The staff are rude and the food is awful. Please don't fall into this tourist trap. The only reason it gets any business is because it's opposite liverpool street station. It's so bad. Please save your money and go elsewhere or just wait until the morning.
Booked for bottomless brunch. Really good vegan breakfast, lots of variety including spinach, falafel, mushrooms, no fake meat. Relaxed atmosphere, can have celebration or breakfast or both. Staff friendly and helpful, bottomless prosecco really bottomless, glass was literally never empty and of course the pancakes are good. Downsides Toilets are upstairs, and ate and drank too much, fell asleep during show .
Caffs in London’s modern history are the democratic meeting space for people from all walks of life. And Polo upholds this as they have been doing since opening in the 50s. Absolute stormer of a sausage and egg butty (with lashings of brown sauce IYKYK). Excellent cappuccino. And stunning service from the one and only Millie. No. I wasn’t paid to write this. It’s just that good. Thanks as always, Team Polo. Thanks for providing our home away from home, 24/7.
Had a quick hot drink before heading to work. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service with a smile, and the wait time was no more than 5 minutes. They also offer a Blue Light discount, which is a great bonus. The location is perfect, right opposite Liverpool Street station so it's easy to find.
I discovered this brunch spot on Instagram and decided to take my partner for a birthday celebration after visiting Horizon 22 (Scenic point). The restaurant is full of quirky features, but I particularly enjoyed the display of speakers and the words on the stairs. Our host, Edward, was delightful - very polite and friendly. He even offered an alternative option for my meal and shared inspiring stories about his life journey. Edward's exceptional customer service makes him a valuable asset to the restaurant. The location, across from Liverpool Street station, is also fantastic.
