What Doina C doesn't like about Piragua:
This was the worst ever restaurant experience that I've had in my life. The staff were extremely rude and when we did not want to order everything that they suggested they forced us to leave. This was truly outrageous. Have not seen anything like this ever before. View all feedback.

I was on the way to another Italian restaurant when I discovered this tiny little place on air st, the "family run Italian restaurant" read. I was in 2 heads first, saw zomato and almost did not see any useful reviews embedded to find most tables occupied! the people wouldn't sit around if they found something attractive, which is almost always eating. I finally went in and do not regret that I decided to eat here. the menu is just right, not overwhelming, easy to understand with sufficient details. I ordered the nero d 'avola red wine and the rigatoni pasta, which has just poured so many flavors into a dish. generous portions with great value for money. Eat tastes even better when served with love, and il conte did it effortlessly. After I walked all day and wanted to finish my day with a perfect meal, this place gave me exactly that and much more. exquisite!
Small space. we had a table out on the way. it seems to be a family-run restaurant. the staff was very friendly and helpful. both pastas were really nice. a bolognese ravioli and a salsiccia and broccoli.
So glad we eat here (instead of the prezza next door) before the theater trip. I can honestly say that was one of the most tasty carbanaras I've ever had. the restaurant was very traditional and the staff very nice. very cheap foccacia brot was also delicious. very recommended meal for 2 with wein, pina colada, 2 pornstars and 2 brote under £60 can not go wrong
This is a great find! It’s a lovely family run restaurant which is rare to find in central London. The food was amazing and I would i visit again.
