Very good reception with very good service. The place is beautiful! Everything was exquisite from beginning to end. It's fresh and very copyy. What an experience! I highly recommend!

For the first time visit the oscar wilde lounge in the cafe royal and was impressed by room and surroundings. warmly welcomed by the team there and especially impressed by the friendly and professional style of the team called jozsef, who was very well informed about the menu options. the presentation of the van gogh tee was great, but the vegan sandwiches were unfortunately not. the themed cakes, good selection of tees and the entire service of jozsef made the afternoon the most fun and pleasant experience.

I highly recommend this experience. From the moment we entered the hotel and were escorted to the grill room, to the friendly reception by the young lady who checked us in, we were treated like royalty. Our server, Shekhar, was extremely attentive. The staff even acknowledged my wife's birthday and brought out a cake while singing happy birthday to her, making her feel truly special. The afternoon tea was exceptional, with delicious and fresh sandwiches, as well as incredible cakes. They made sure to make us feel special, especially on my wife's birthday, and we can't wait to return. We plan to bring our adult children back for a special treat. We came for Afternoon Tea to celebrate a friend’s birthday and she was made to feel SO special. We had a fabulous table near the pianist and were made to feel like the most important people in the room. Our host was very attentive and knowledgeable about the history of our beautiful surroundings and gave wise advice on which of the many teas to try. A wonderful relaxed atmosphere and a truly delicious afternoon tea. The Earl Grey jelly was inspired and I think the sandwiches may be the best we’ve ever had!

My husband surprised me with afternoon tea at Cafe Royal for our first wedding anniversary. Though it is a bit pricey, it is truly worth it for the experience. The ambiance is breathtaking and the service is top-notch. Our host, David, was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about all the teas. I would highly recommend it as a special treat.
