What User doesn't like about Olivo:
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I did not anticipate receiving such disrespectful treatment in a civilized country. The waitress seemed disinterested and took a long time to serve us. The food was bland and served in small portions. We were also expected to leave a 12% tip. View all feedback.
Olivo is a Sardinian/Italian restaurant in victoria. it is the sister restaurant to olivomare (the fish concentrated Sardinian restaurant), olivocarne (the meat concentrated sister restaurant and oliveto (pizza.) olivo has a more casual atmosphere than olivomare or olivocarne, walls are painted in yellow and blue with traditional elements and it feels casual when they are there, while olivomare formal and olivomarne. the menu offers meat, fish and pasta dishes and for lunch you can order 2 courses for £24.50 and 3 courses for £29 and we just wanted 2 courses. we came to lunch on Tuesday and the restaurant was slowly filled and almost full. ...the pasta at Olivo has been my golden standard for joyous-pasta. So I ordered Linguine al Granchio (pasta, with crab, garlic, chilli, parsley, £14.50), the same dish I ordered three years ago. And as I enjoyed the memories this dish brought back to
My wife and I visited sardinia, so we were interested when we saw this restaurant in london. we are very glad that we went to dinner, it was a highlight of our visit. the place where this restaurant really seems is her Sardinian food as they may expect. make sure to ask the waiter on recommendations every time, the result was incredibly tasteful. we ordered two Sardinian style pastas (malloreddus and culurgiones), and were very happy. the cold tomato soup (zuppa fredda di pomodoro) was incredibly delicious, and the Sardinian traditional sebada was also a great dessert. they also had beautiful wine-guiding. service was friendly and attentive all the time. worth about £150 for a complete dinner for two, including aperitif, wein and dessert. london is always expensive, so this seems quite reasonable for the amount and quality of eating and drinking. olivo will definitely be on our restaurant list when we go back to london.
Excellent, with friendly staff and the thunfish is raised. all this is not an expensive restaurant.
