I love this place. great for a quick lunch when I'm out of shopping, better still for a takeaway (it's unpleasant sitting opportunities, strip lighting, bustling market.) eating is excellent and authentic (I know how my children are sharp critics, partly mauritian.) highly recommended. What truly set Mauritius Paradise apart was the warm hospitality and attentive service provided by the staff. From the friendly welcome at the door to the knowledgeable recommendations from the waitstaff, every aspect of the dining experience was handled with care and professionalism. In conclusion, Mauritius Paradise is a culinary oasis that offers a taste of tropical bliss in the heart of London. Whether you're a fan of exotic flavors, a lover of adventurous dining experiences, or simply seeking a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, a visit to this beloved restaurant is sure to leave you satisfied, smiling, and eager to return for more.
Kevin and his team at Mauritian Paradise stepped in to cater our wedding on short notice, after a previous supplier fell through. Kevin was extremely accommodating and worked with our budget to create a delicious Mauritian buffet that was a hit with all our guests. The food was so good that my only regret is not eating more on our special day. I highly recommend Kevin for anyone in need of catering for large events.
I am not sure what happened, but the rotis at this restaurant were soft and tender on the inside, but the edges were hard and the roti itself was dry and tough. It seemed like they were not fresh, possibly leftovers. I was quite disappointed as the food tasted bland. The rice was clumped together and had a watery taste. I used to love this place, but I have no idea what went wrong. The roti was so hard that I could not even eat it, which completely put me off and I ended up throwing all my food away. Money is not the issue for me, but I will never return to this restaurant again. Serving fresh food is essential, and there is no excuse for selling old, dry, or crusty rotis. It is not worth losing customers and receiving negative reviews. The rice was somewhat acceptable, but I still could not bring myself to eat it.
Kevin and his team catered for a family funeral in October. Food and service were great. Extremely warm and friendly service for such an event. Everyone was impressed and left positive feedback. Many Thanks
