this restaurant is an icon in the west of london. I visited several times in two decades. the last visit was very consistent with all previous ones. the restaurant is always very busy (and quite loud). eating is consistently good and you can not help but order one of the signature lobster dishes. the service is also very consistent with many other reviews that describe it as inconsistent: we were served by various wa... What Sophie Cleary doesn't like about Mandarin Kitchen:
Best chinese restaurant in queensway!! the food and service are both amazing, would definitely recommend : Jennie and the other staff are all really friendly and give good recommendations. The portions are big and the restaurant is very clean. The service and food are amazing for the price! View all feedback.
Amazing CNY dinner experience in the best Chinese restaurant in london we visited mandarin kitchen for our Chinese New Year dinner at the feb that eating is absolutely on the point and we all enjoyed the entire dinner experience we sat around large tables. the restaurant was at this time full house and yet the team visited us with great professionalism that is commendable, highly recommend mandarin kitchen for their super quality eating
We ordered lobster noodles and it was great! place is very crowded so they better book them their place before. waiters are really busy so they must be patient
For many years I was past this restaurant and never went in because the look of the window is a bit strange, looks dirty and unkempt. then a friend took me to eat there and I was really amazed. the menu is huge and so are the portions. space is very clean, but I have to give overall because of the service. you have to repeat the things to all employees because they do not seem to understand a simple question like soy sauce.
I've been here only a few times as it's quite pricey, however if you have the money I would get the lobster noodles, it's absolutely delicious.
Mandarin Kitchen , this restaurant has one of the slowest service on earth. We visited here on a Friday night for Dinner and obviously it was almost full . Whenever I passed by this particular restaurant , I have always seen it over crowded. So I just wanted to try it once . The only thing which I didn't liked about this restaurant is the service is very very slow . After ordering, it took them mins to get our order on the table , but I can understand as it was too crowded. But they should look for some alternative for this too Anyway, We ordered Red snapper fillet in Ginger sauce, king prawns in Manadarin Sauce, king prawns in black pepper sauce Steamed tiger prawns in Garlic...read more
