What Sam B doesn't like about Lena's Cafe:
We tried Lena’s cafe and I never usually leave reviews especially not bad ones BUT there were the worst chips we have ever had . Tiny portion they were chalky and crumbly worse than the cheapest oven chips tried to get a refund at the time and reject the food because as soon as I seen it I had a bad feeling and my feeling was right . Wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody even my dog turned his nose up at the chips... View all feedback.

Came here for a full English at 15:00. Obviously I was abit late for that one, so ...I ended up having a £10 plate. I had the fish, rice 3 sides. The spinach was so damaged good, I could eat it everyday. Fillingfor a small plate. Also accompanied by the beetroot juice. Home cooked food fresh, will be going back to try more. Highly recommended.
Unexpectedly fabulous breakfast from the loveliest couple. Staying nearby just nipped out for a full english for my traditional husband only to also find an Otto Lenghi like selection so amazing I could hardly choose. I had a herby vegetable omelette with a selection of exquisite vegetables on the side with a homemade spicily hot sauce made my day and his!
Great breakfast all cooked fresh. The scrambled egg and avocado salad was delicious. They also sell a range of freshly squeezed juices including a beetroot and ginger. Would thoroughly recommend.
Called in here for an early lunch and was bowled over by the quantity and quality of the home-cooked food. I had cod with rice with 3 cold salads piled high for £6.50, my partner had vegetarian lasagne with three hot side dishes for £6.50 and a huge mug of tea each. It was a cosy place while it snowed outside and then people from local businesses started to come in and it got really busy. A statement to it's popularity . . .
