Hispaniola Restaurant Bar

Booked a girls dinner here with some fussy eaters! The set menu had an option for everyone. The food was freshly made and beautifully presented. The service was a little slow and the wine list a little light on options but generous with the 2hr free flowing prosecco.

Me and my boyfriend visited the R. S. Hispaniola for a three course meal and unlimited Prosecco. It was amazing! The food was delicious, the Prosecco was free flowing and our waiter absolutely made our evening. Andrei was conscientious and friendly going above an beyond to welcome us to the restaurant. We will definitely be returning!

The staff are lovely; very polite and helpful. The boat could do with a little “TLC” if I’m honest ... the tables had been treated with a varnish which was all peeling off so perhaps a table cloth could be a nice touch? The menu was quite good BUT it was a shame the dishes we ordered were not available (salmon and duck). Alternatives were offered but not what we would have chosen. Everything was cooked lovely! The shrimp starter (which has a £3 supplement) was not worth it as there were a few tiny shrimps in a butter sauce served in a small ramekin bowl which didn’t warrant the extra cost! If I’m honest the best thing about the meal was the desert ... honeycomb cheesecake.

I booked a 3 course lunch with free flowing Prosecco (for an hour) for myself and 3 friends. We were greeted by friendly staff then shown to our table what an amazing setting for lunch, on the River Thames overlooking the London Eye. Our first glass of prosecco quickly arrived and was followed by many more, not once did we have to ask the waiters for a refill, they were extremely attentive and really nice to chat to, they made us feel very welcome. The food was lovely, beautifully presented, plentiful and very tasty. I could not fault the R.S.Hispaniola and will definately be returning. The whole experience was made extra special by such nice staff. A fantastic afternoon, I would recommend to anyone.
