Lovely restaurant with excellent food and service. We sat outside on a hot day and were encouraged to choose our own seats, then handed a menu to read. Once we had decided on our choices the waitress took our order and answered questions we had. She recommended the pizza my husband chose and we didn't have to wait long before our food was served. We enjoyed a lovely lunch and will definitely visit again soon. View all feedback.
What Adam E doesn't like about Franco Manca:
The gluten free pizza is not gluten free, as it’s cooked in the oven with the rest of the pizzas, so don’t bother. Waited 30 mins for a salad as an alternative and then told that they couldn’t make me a salad. Sent the wine back because it was off. Worst restaurant I’ve ever experienced! View all feedback.
We ordered pre-pizza shared, then 2 Pizzas and 2 glasses of Italian red wine. Forst we were shocked in what glases the red wine was served. See the picture: disgusting! Then the pre-pizza-sharers were served a few minutes later than the Pizzas. This ist not the idea of a starter-menu: we refused! This Restaurant has poor style and poor service!
Filipe was great and incredibly welcoming with amazing service! Made my London experience something to remember!
For a restaurant in a prime location we expected more. Long wait for a table despite empty seats inside and out, the starters never arrived but were included in the bill despite our reminder to take them off. Waitress unable to reverse transaction and brought paper form for refund which suggests this is a common event. Predictably, refund never arrived either. Food itself was fine but overall experience for the price was very underwhelming. We won’t be going back.
Delicious pizza and really good price. The service may be a bit slow but it is worth your money. I really recommend this place cross the Saint Paul's.
Horrendous customer experience. We wanted to sit outside for drinks only and asked if this would be possible and told yes. However after we sat down and ordered we were asked what food we would like we said we had just eaten afternoon tea and didn’t need food. We were then told we were not allowed to have drinks only due to their restaurant licence. They were very rude to us telling us that serving us may mean their license would be taken away from them and they are not allowed to serve drinks only. I wouldn’t mind if this was communicated when we asked but only mentioned after we sat down and ordered drinks. I’m very dubious that restaurant licenses stipulate that food must be consumed as many places serve just coffee. Never again in my opinion, such a shame the waitress was so rude as this chain does serve good food!
