I went there for a quick dinner. The place was busy with many people enjoying their pints or watching sports. I was served quickly by a nice a welcoming member of staff. Food was a classic English meal and quite tasty. I am often in this area while travelling for work and this place offers a welcoming and comforting space to unwind after a busy day. What Grace Harris doesn't like about Four Seasons Chinese Bayswater:
Yes! A pub that still has food at dinner time! No stilton, no pickled onions, ploughmans, steak kidney pie or sunday roast... but a limited tourist menu with the usual fish chips. Nevertheless happy to find an English dinner after being turned away by a kitchen closed pub up the Queensway. The barmaid was friendly and knowledgable, and made good conversation. One of the best chinese restaurants I have eaten in, the quality of food is excellent and the staff are friendly.
It was the sight of the beautifully cooked bronzed flat ducks lined up on the window that attracted us despite smarter Chinese restaurants nearby. Inside the place has a warm comfortable atmosphere like an old Aunts front room with piles of chairs stacked in the corners and boxes lying around so its not the decor you go for. Indeed the covered chairs that you sit on are not forgiving in anyway. But a look around at the other clientele, mostly Chinese, say this is a knowledgeable bunch and the trade the take-away section was doing was impressive. Not being experts of this cuisine we went safe and ordered duck of course which was shredded at the table a good sign), crispy beef, egg fried rice and a slightly disappointing rather dry chicken satay though the sauce was good- but of course this is Thai food so maybe this is not a speciality of the place. I like the attitude of the waiters who treat you quite rightly as equals rather than the subservience of other places. Any way glad we visited.
It is my regular lunch for the best brat ente in london. a large amount during the weekday, where they receive the free daily suppe and orange with their meal. dinners and weekends can wait very long and be more expensive. it can no longer claim to serve the world's best roasted pork this week dry. the top award belongs to its related, which opens
Fantastic. wihin minutes when the order everything comes hot and steaming. the pull-out shell is the pecking ente. plan to drive back there. comfort food! the seating is cramped
Super easy Chinese Fast Food. The restaurant is very cozy and very busy. they offer food that tasty and delicious. The most famous dish is roast duck. But for me everything is good especially those vegetables and stir fry.
