What lucas de Jesus Santos doesn't like about El Pirata Of Mayfair:
It does not represent Spanish gastronomy at all. The lamb shoulders are dwarf, and overpriced. Prawns al pil-pil are not prawns al pil-pil as such, but rather a low-quality simulation . Orange juice is a glass of bottled juice for 4 pounds, and in terms of Spanish gastronomy, very poor. The bill for lamb, a skirt, shrimp pil-pil and drink, 55 pounds for 2 people. View all feedback. We had a lovely meal here. It was packed which was great just after Christmas and we experienced a first class service from the friendly staff and the food was excellent. It was a very reasonable price considering the location and we will definitely be retuning. View all feedback.
