Located on Essex Street around the corner from where Fleet Street meets The Strand St Marys church area. Named after the famous crime writer and erstwhile journalist there is lots of memorabilia on the rather ' busy ' walls that also have posters and plaques of old adverts . I. The decor is genuinely different. At the first floor coaster all around, some panels and also a nutcracker The second floor one corner old books, another part photos at 60s. Then also old magazines. Really entertaining. Mine criticism it is too the waiter. We were a big group, I was the only one that order wine. The wine was tasting like vinegar.
