It's no surprise that many EAT restaurants have closed down, if this one is a reflection of the chain's current state. The service was lacking - surly and disinterested, with no effort to provide good customer service. It was clear that the staff were not happy to be working on a weekend. The food was decent, but pretty standardized so it's hard to mess up. View all feedback.

I visited Golden Square Eat this morning. I ordered a decaf americano with a bacon sandwich on wholemeal bread, but they only had white bread buns. I was surprised that a sandwich shop didn't have wholemeal or brown bread. The coffee was good, but I ended up going to Pret for a sandwich on wholemeal bread. I was not impressed with the lack of bread options at Golden Square Eat.
I often fly from Heathrow, but seldom from terminal 2. The new terminal lacks the quality restaurants found in terminals 3, 4, and 5, so I opted to try EAT. The porridge was watery and the Stevia sweetener unpleasant. I requested a soy latte but received a small latte instead (trying to reduce my dairy intake). This will be my first and last visit to this restaurant.
If you're in London on a budget (and dont want to eat fast food all weekend) then come here for fresh, season and good food.
I like the Eat restaurants and I find the food available very good and not badly priced. On this visit I had the Texas chilli and rice which was tasty and as expected. However my main gripe is that despite advertising the Thai green curry on the tube, posters and even in store it's never available!!! Secondly in this day and age why does this restaurant with a fair few tables have no toilet? A proper inconvenience especially in central London as they can be hard to find. The restaurant itself is just off Regent St so it is in a good spot. Overall not bad I just wish they had what I expect from the adverts. Check what's on the menu before turning up (if it matters to you)
