What bfltd0 doesn't like about Daniel Gooch:
Unfortunately the Daniel Gooch has been shut for some time. This is a shame as it is a loss of a local pub. However there are several other pubs in the local area. View all feedback. What christopysas likes about Daniel Gooch:
In a highly touristy area, this was a pleasant surprise, a nice independent local, very polite owner, cool and cheerful but not loud people, good selection of ales, normal prices (around 4-4,5 a pint), no food i think but the group sat next to us brought in their pizzas!would surely go back just to stare at the ceiling View all feedback.

read moreLocated in a highly touristy area, the Daniel Gooch pub has unfortunately closed, leaving other local options available. One reviewer noted a negative experience with rude staff and poor beer quality, while another found the atmosphere welcoming and the service exceptional. Run by a friendly Scottish couple, the pub offers a great beer selection and a unique interior. Though they do not serve food, the reasonable prices and local vibe make it a popular spot. Visitors looking to relax and enjoy a pint should definitely consider stopping by this hidden gem.
